My Favorite Tracks of the Past Week: 1/16/2011

January 16, 2011

How good is the NFL?  Despite the inevitable lockout, concussion scandals, steroid scandals, the fact that Roger Goodell is genuinely dumb/evil and the fact that the 49ers haven’t been relevant since Ruben Studdard was a household name, the NFL Playoffs are amazing ever year.  I love the NBA, but you could pick a random NFL postseason from the last ten or fifteen years out of a hat and it would be better than any MLB or NBA postseason you could think of in the same time period.  And I know that they’re different sports and you’re supposed to look at them differently, but if the job of sports is to entertain us, I’m objectively more entertained by the NFL than anything else right now.

Anyways, as far as agendas go, I’m only rooting against Jay Cutler – I have no problems with any of the other teams.  Clay Matthews is pretty much the only person anywhere holding it down for white people.  The message as always: steroids are universally underrated.  When I buy an NFL team in 2031, I’m instituting an all-white defense and an all-black offense, which means you’re pretty much reading a blog written by the next Al Davis.  Thank God I”m not the only one on this site.

Skrillex – Slats Slats Slats (320 kbps)

** had no idea this song is like 2 years old – feel a bit silly 😦
